Moshi

Hey guys,

I haven't posted in ALONG time. But, I wanted to tell you about his really cool alarm clock! It's called Moshi. You talk to it, and it talks back. Voice activated. All you have to do is say, "Hello Moshi." And it will respond to commands such as time, temperature, alarm, night light, and sleep sound. It's really cool and small! You should get one from Brookstone now.

Posting Pickup!

You guys may have realized that I haven''t been posting very much recently. That is because it was vacation! You may be wondering, "If it was vacation, wouldn't you have more time?" The answer is NO! I thought I would have more time, too. But, It turns out I didn't! "Why?" I wondered "Would I not post as much if it was vacation? There isn't any school work to distract me." I thought and thought and thought. And then, I came to a conclusion. And now, to leave you at that cliff-hanger, I will only finish this post if 5 people comment on this post. Congratulations! And then I came to a conclusion. You are relaxing and watching TV and playing games during vacation, so don't want to be distracted or have to do other things that you don't get the chance to do.

Food!

Food is really yummy. I really like to cook. I'm sure some of you guys do too. So, I will tell you about a cooking show that I really like to watch . . .

Chopped

4 contestants start at the beginning. There are 3 courses; Appetizer, Entree, and Dessert. The chefs are given baskets that contain secret ingredients, most of the time not paired together often (Ex: Fish, Cheese, Potatoes, Something else I can't remember). Each chef is challenged to make a dish for each meal that has the secret ingredients that were found in their baskets in the beginning of the round. The judges will then judge each chefs dish based off of 3 qualities, Creativity, Taste, and Presentation. After each round, 1 contestant is "Chopped"/eliminated. The winner receives $10,000. I'm sorry to say that the Scriby family wasn't happy on this blog. So, I sent them to find another blog in Africa. But, Elmo was feeling lonely. So, I decided to get him a penguin friend. Sorry!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been busy. BUT, I made sure to make these post super special. So, a lot of you guys know that I wear these shirts with really cool, funny designs on them. I've decided, to tell you were I get them. Here is the __ step way. (This will not work if you don't have internet connection, sorry! [Well of course, if you don't have internet connection then you couldn't go to this blog so, never mind!])

1. Turn on your computer.

2. Open Safari/Internet Explorer

3. Go to www.woot.com

You will now see an electronic item with a strange blurb under it. "What does this have to do with shirts?" you may ask. I could have just sent you directly to the shirt thingy, www.shirt.woot.com , but sometimes those electronic thingys are actually really cool.

iChat!

I know that a lot of you guys have a gmail account and chat. That google chat system is called Google Talk. You may be saying, "The title of this post is iChat! Why are you talking about Google Talk?" Well, the answer is I wanted to give you guys some background information before I begin. iChat, I'm sorry to say is much better then Google Talk! There are so many more emoticons, you can do group video chats too! Some of you may say, "iChat only works with AIM! I don't want to get an AIM! Those people are wrong. All you have to do is open iChat, and go to the iChat tab. Then, click on preferences. Click on Accounts and click the + button to add a new account. Where it says account type, select Google Talk. I hope you can do the rest from there! Please get iChat because I can't video chat if you guys don't have it!

How YOU Can Be Featured In This Blog!

You may wonder the different ways you can be featured on this blog. Some of you may have realized that I have featured some peoples names on my blog. YOUR name can be featured in several ways.

1. If I made a list in a post and you think I missed something, comment that I missed it. Then I'll judge whether I will put it on the blog or not. If I do, your name will be next to it in parentheses.

2. If it is your birthday, I will put up a post saying, "Happy Birthday!" I got this idea from Kaley's blog. If you would like your birthday to be featured, then comment the date (and time if you know it). If you don't want your birthday to be featured then put a comment saying, "DON'T FEATURE MY BIRTHDAY!" Homework!

Let's face it. We all hate homework. But, there is a way to make your homework less time consuming, no matter how stupid you are. It's quite simple actually. All you have to do is get the most important things done as early as possible. I know that's sometimes very late. For example, I do gymnastics and on the days when I have gymnastics I usually don't start me homework until 7:00! But, do the most important thing first. Because, if you end up running out of time without the most important thing done, then you have a problem. If there's an easy thing that will only take you 5 minutes to do, DO IT LAST! If you end up running out of time, then you could wake up 5 minutes early. But, there is one exception to the most important thing rule. If it isn't due the next day. I say that because, if it isn't due the next day you a day when you will have time to do it. But remember, don't procrastinate! 1 more rule . . .

Use your time wisely. If you get 2 days to do a project, and you have some activity the next day, do it the first day.

I hope I have made your average homework day easier.

Elmo is here to say, "PLEASE SIGN DAVID'S PETITION AT SCHOOL!" Purple is his least favorite color and he really, really likes being red. He also said that he's in contact with The Count, and he can't find a job because of the bad economy. He has to go to the NYC Food Bank! Please sign the petition so he can get his job back. Also, Veggie/Cookie Monster tried asparagus, and he hates it! He told me to get that petition sign ASAP. So, when you come to school and you haven't signed the petition, ask me for it and I'll let you sign.

It's ridiculous! Elmo has been red for 40 years and 1 month (about)! They're changing him to purple because they said, "Red is too violent." I mean, how is a color violent? So it's the color of blood! That doesn't mean you can change 40 years of hard work. I was so angered by this that I'm making a petition. I'll be bringing it to school from Tuesday, December 1st- Friday, December 18th (Our last day of school before Winter break). Then, I'll send it to the Sesame Street Company (Probably).
